hello friends, my name’s JR.
I’ve always had a personal webpage, like most software devs working with web technologies. But just as a kind of resumé. I have never had a blog. Never a place to just put my thoughts out there on the interwebs.
Social media does not count, there, all your thoughts only drown in the noise of all other posts of varying quality. Speaking nothing of all the attention seeking ads. And by just a few hours your thoughts are lost in the abyss of all other thoughts competing for attention.
So here I am, I thought why not try and create a place for myself, for my thoughts, and at the same time force me to think through my thoughts enough to try and make them comprehensible for a random internet person that might in all unlikelihood stumble upon them.
A personal website, or blog such as this in comparison is eternal, or at least as long as I keep the server running and make all my thoughts much easier to go back to and re-read, allowing for introspection!
